Roomle is an online planning tool for drawing out floor plans and furnishing these plans with furniture, art and other items. Roomle is free to use. Users can start by drawing a floorplan of their own home or uploading a sketch of it. Users can also draft their furnishings into their floorplan to get a better idea of the flow and design of the room and easily make changes to that virtually to see if those are changes they would like to implement in real life. Additionally, Roomle allows users to collaborate on a room design with other users which is particularly useful for design teams or families who are away from one another. All of a users plans can be saved and stored onto their Roomle account. Roomle can also be incorporated into a user's blog or website as a unique and interactive offering.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Roomle is developed and maintained by the Austrian digital media company Netural. The managing director of the organization is Albert J. Ortig. Roomle was founded in 2009 and officially launched its Beta Roomle 1.0 version on January 26, 2010. Roomle has been featured on "American Digital Goddess" Kim Komando's site and MakeUseOf.com. Some design companies have announced a partnership with Roomle including Wohnnet.at and Planungswelten.
